WARNING: Do not leave the box out when this package comes. YEOW fills their catnip toys with the kind of nip that will make your cat attack the box as soon as it comes in the door. It doesn't matter where you put the box, they will get it. Trust me.
The rainbow shape of this toy is perfect for kitty play. They love to hug and rub their cheeks on this toy. Even our 19 year old cat would play with a Yeow toy and ignore the rest.

My cats are in heaven when they smell/rub/taste this Yeowww! catnip rainbow. It's a real treat for them. We laughed so much when we saw their first (gleeful!) reactions to it.

The rainbow catnip toy gets major points for aesthetic appeal, but within the first five minutes my cat made a tear in the fabric. I moved it over to her messy catnip area and in a week it has now a couple finger-sized holes. I wish I could justify buying this twice, because it is an incredibly cute toy, but it doesn't hold up nearly as well as other catnip-stuffed toys. If your cat is particularly fierce, I would keep looking.

I think this toy is pretty adorable, but it is a little smaller than I thought it would be. I won't hold that against it since I should have paid attention to the dimensions listed. I will say it is a little small for an adult cat for anyone about to purchase this. It's big enough for them to play with, but it's really only big enough for them to hold with their front paws. My cat loves to bunny kick. He could still do it, but the smallness of the target made it a little difficult for him.
The catnip itself is very potent. My cat was interested as soon as I opened the box. He rubbed and played with everything the toy had touched in transit- the spot the toy laid in inside the box, the plastic, even the sticker. He went nuts over the toy, which never happens with toys that don't move. I had never used quality cat nip on him so it was funny to see him reacting to it. He rubbed his face on it, drooled on it, clawed it, etc. When he was finished it already had at least a hundred very obvious holes on it. I will say he is kind of a vicious kitty. I don't know how well it is going to hold up, but maybe I can recycle the catnip in it if it tears.
I've only had this toy for a day or two and my cat is already bored with it. He'll stop and sniff it with a little interest, but then he just walks off. Maybe it's because I've been leaving it out for him all the time. I'll try putting it away for periods and see if it helps. Anyway, if your cat is sensitive to catnip it will probably love this toy.

My 9 month old cat loves this more then any other cat toys I've bought him so far. He sees it and goes nuts, rubbing his face all over it and kicking it all over the apartment.
